• We are looking for a motivated and dependable Brewer’s Assistant to join our growing team.
• This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about craft beer and wants to develop a career in commercial brewing. The successful candidate will receive hands-on experience throughout the brewing process and will have the opportunity to advance into a full-time brewer position as their skills, experience, and the needs of the brewery develop.
The Opportunity
As a Brewer’s Assistant, you will work directly with the head brewers and become involved in all stages of production, from raw ingredients through packaging. You will learn how a professional brewery operates while developing practical skills in brewing, cellar management, packaging, sanitation, quality control, and equipment operation.
What You’ll Do
• Preparing the brewhouse and brewing equipment
• Grain handling, milling, and mash preparation
• Brewing and wort production
• Fermentation and cellar operations
• Yeast handling and management
• Tank transfers and beer movement
• Cleaning and sanitation of brewing and cellar equipment
• CIP procedures
• Keg cleaning and filling
• Operation of our onsite canning line
• Packaging and finished-product handling
• Quality control and production sampling
• Inventory management and ingredient handling
• Brewery equipment maintenance and general upkeep
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe production environment
• Other brewery duties as required
Training, Development & Experience
Relevant commercial brewing, homebrewing, brewing education, food production, mechanical, or manufacturing experience is considered an asset. We will provide hands-on training for the right candidate and are looking for someone dependable, hardworking, eager to learn, and committed to developing their skills in a professional brewery environment.

What We’re Looking For
• Strong interest in craft beer and brewing
• Reliable, dependable, and hardworking, with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work evening and weekends, as needed
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and safety requirements
• Comfortable working in a wet, hot, physically demanding production environment, including lifting up to 25 kg (55 lbs) and standing for extended periods
What We Offer
• 20–25 hours per week
• Starting salary $19-$22/hour, depending on experience
• Competitive hourly wage based on experience
